Brigitte started taking photographs at a young age inspired by her grandfather.In her twenties she travelled the globe and discovered her passion for landscape and street photography,be it colour or BnW.Today she is also experimenting with abstract approaches. Her photography has been exhibited at galleries and fairs all over Europe,in North America,Asia and more.It has been published in international art magazines,books and has received awards,the last being a gold winner at London photography awards.
Project Statement
Creating is a drive.Photography is my path.My way of expressing my emotions,my thoughts,my ever fleeting feelings.My aspiration is to showcase Life be it in nature,with people,in cityscapes as seen through my eyes.When shooting I put myself in an almost meditative state,I am either at one with my environment,calm or excited with all my senses ready to react to any movement at any moment.Thus my photography is very spontaneous,candid.When my eyes,my heart and soul are at one,aligned I might come up with a story.A story to be shared with the viewer. For this issue I chose to submit six artworks taken by the waters.They are part of a larger project that I hope to publish.
