n 2001, I completed a Bachelor of Fine Art (Painting) at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne, Australia. Now based in Central Victoria on Dja Dja Wurrung country, my practice explores the relationship between nature and the human spirit. Recent works draw on my Chinese Australian heritage, incorporating elements of Chinese folklore, mythology, and tradition. Through these cultural references, I examine themes of ancestral connection and the resonance of cultural landscapes.
Project Statement
Sunlight and darkness shape our perception of colour and form. As light falls across a surface, colour and form emerge from darkness, quietly bringing an object to life.
