David Ferman

I am a Spanish fine art photographer interested in exploring the emotional and symbolic dimensions of everyday life. Through carefully composed images and a restrained visual language, I seek to transform ordinary scenes into spaces for contemplation and reflection. My work is driven by an interest in atmosphere, perception, and the subtle moments that often go unnoticed, inviting viewers to pause and find their own meaning in each image.

Project Statement

Artificial light is designed to attract our attention. It highlights landmarks, streets and attractions, shaping the way we experience a city at night. Yet every illuminated space leaves another in shadow, quietly directing our gaze while allowing other places to fade into the background. Night Lure explores this tension between what light reveals and what it quietly conceals, inviting us to reflect on how our perception is guided as much by absence as by presence.
